PSA: Small Businesses just a friendly reminder that customer service is everything. There's a different way you need to treat people when YOU mess up to MAKE IT RIGHT that's above and beyond. You can't be wrong and then add insult and inconvenience to injury. You will LOSE customers. Word gets out and around
I know that Black Friday sales are a challenging time but the whole point of these sales are to gain customers not lose them so if you aren't going to treat them right then what's the point? When you make mistakes you have to correct the issue PLUS RESTORE GOODWILL, even if it's just by being polite, apologetic and timely. You certainly don't make the customer suffer even more for your mistake because you want to make things easier for yourself. Maybe you can print this and hang it in your office 🏢.
(Note I had a great Black Friday personally but too many people have been reporting customer service issues. I'm here for the people always ❤.)
