Finger Detangler goes BACK to using Combs & Brushes on Natural Hair! See HOW & WHY!

Watch me go back to using combs and brushes to detangle my natural hair! Why did I go back? Simply put I really wanted to get ALL the tangles and shedding out! Whether you're a finger detangler thinking about going back to tools or a tool detangler wanting to try finger detangling, this video shows you a bit of both sides of the fence! Notes on using your fingers to detangle kinky / curly hair:
Finger detangling is great for being gentle on your strands but it can be time consuming. For me it gets out about 99% of my tangles and shed hair each time (I detangle weekly). I'm fine to go for months and even years just doing this however there are cases where I need 100% such as when I'm about to go to a stylist. I would say that everyone should at least try it but remember to be thorough when trying it. Often people say it doesn't work but they aren't thorough or patient enough. Make sure you do small sections and start near the ends but EVENTUALLY get to the root and make sure it is detangled and all the shed hair is out. Here is my previous video where I go into more detail on my finger detangling routine :). I need to do an update since it's old but it's still gold (LOL) :-D.
